For the crew

Recording materials

What went on the job, as well as who. The units are set for you, so a quantity can’t go in wrong.

Adding a material

  1. On the day editor, pick the job first.
  2. Tap Add materials.
  3. Pick the material off the list and type how much.

The units are already set for each material by the office, so you can’t put a quantity in the wrong ones. What you’ve already put on the job today is listed underneath, with a Remove beside each if you get one wrong.

Do it while you remember. Book the steel out when you take it, not at four o’clock when you’re trying to work out what you used.

Seeing them again

Tap the day on My week. Under the shifts, Materials lists what you put on the jobs that day — the material, the job number and how much.

Taking one off

Put the same plate in twice? Tap the bin beside one. It asks first, naming the material, the amount and the job.

Materials can be taken off until you send the week in, the same as hours. After that the list is still there to look at, without the bins — ask the office, who can take one off for you.

If the office has added a material for you — say, steel you told them about after the week went in — it says added by the office.

The material isn’t on the list

The office keeps the list, and the crew can’t add to it. Ask them to put it on.

Still stuck? Ring the office — there’s nothing in the app that somebody there can’t undo. Or contact us.
